Lost Camper

Lost !

In the book of Luke 15(Prodigal or wasteful sons),  Jesus speaks to believing campers, describing the condition of the hearts of two wasteful sons and a loving father. We have all heard a lot about the son who took his tent in search for a better campsite, his ideal lifestyle and his own way. But we haven't heard much about the other son, the obedient hardworking son.

The one living in his dad's tent, enjoying all his goodness and using all his fathers gear. Under his fathers nose working in the house in the field helping himself to everything in the fridge and bar fridge. Knowing each corridor and cranny of the tent, benefiting daily because of his dad's status, wealth and reputation.

A believing son that is living and working in his dad's tent, but lost. An orphan, a slave a staff member disconnected, discontent, dissatisfied, impatient, inconsistent, disgruntled, unhappy .. lost to his dad's love and warmth and connection.

Only living in his dad's tent for the reward... lost

Only abiding to tent and camp rules day in and day out... lost

Only yielding to the hope of freedom and benefits, someday... lost

Only submitting to be seen as a good son... lost

Only bending to the prospect of the fruit of a good reputation... lost

Only serving for status honor and popularity ... lost

Only working for protection... lost

Only a guest never belonging...lost

Only part of the staff no identity... lost

Only a wanderer outsider restless searching unsettled in his own home... lost.

Called a son, but lost to an honest relationship with his dad, lost to the comforts this connection brings, lost to the restoration, lost to the peace and joy this bond brings, homeless, powerless, angry and restless.

Does your relationship with Dad boils down to: what you are doing, what you have just done or what you are going to do for Him? Substituting a loving relationship with effort, duties, formulas, chores, obligations and offerings. Then I have good news for you

Your First Love and Camp Leader, Jesus,  died on the cross, so that you can be found everyday. He understands how easily we can get lost, lost in formulas, chores and obligations in His house, into legalism. And He urges us to come to Dad in heaven as He is waiting, longing, yearning, pining, and burning for you to reach out and connect with Him, so that you can enjoy restoration, joy and peace.

Dad's heart is the enjoyment of togetherness, growing a deep and honest bond with you, sharing thoughts, dreaming together and finding solutions. Walking, talk and caring for one another every moment of each day.

Dad doesn’t wants you to do these chores, duties, jobs or offerings to earn your keep in His tent. Instead, He longs for you to enjoy living with Him in His tent, drawing nearer and deepening your connection with Him. His desire is for His life and love to flow into your heart, mind and being so that everything you do is inspired by love and guided by His ways—bringing you true happiness and peace through your connection with Him.

If you are a lost in the chores and duties, and you struggle to connect with Father, please reach out to someone that knows the Father, your mentor, fellowship group or church and find someone who can help you to re-connect to our Father... The gifts of the Spirit were given to edify His sons and daughters.

You can also reach out to me or ministers of Restoring the Foundations to find you way back to the Fathers heart.

He is longing for this moment.
